The Public Theater's Mobile Shakespeare Unit presents a feisty and involving production of Shakespeare's romance. The director, Rob Melrose, has assembled a diverse eight-member cast to play some 40 roles and provide the backing music, too. Though Mr. Melrose's quick-march approach sacrifices nuance (and, frankly, a lot of poetry), you're unlikely to see a clearer, swifter production version (1:50).
