"Other Myths," choreographed by Jonah Bokaer, makes its New York debut after premiering in Budapest last year. Mr. Bokaer selected five dancers from various Eastern European countries, and asked them to choose a Carpathian myth for him to interpret and choreograph. "Other Myths" is the result: a synthesis of their tales performed on a bare stage. The music, by Soundwalk Collective, incorporates field recordings from the Black Sea and spoken word from the region's languages.
