The composer and percussionist Glenn Kotche joins the ensemble Third Coast Percussion for a program inspired by the 1880 rock harmonicon - an instrument (also known as a stone xylophone) used by a band in Victorian-era England and featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection of musical instruments. The program also includes 20th-century percussion classics, including Steve Reich's "Music for Pieces of Wood."
