The World Music Institute presents this festival of Indian classical dance, with masters of three traditions performing over two nights. Saturday's program pairs Rahul Acharya - a practitioner of the statuesque, curvaceous style known as Odissi - with Vidhya Subramanian, whose specialty is Bharatanatyam, a similarly sculptural form. A second Bharatanatyam dancer, Janaki Rangarajan, appears on Sunday alongside Shambhavi Dandekar, who immerses us in the dizzying, cyclical rhythms of kathak. While this should all be illuminating on its own, pre- and post-show conversations, on both nights, will provide additional insight.
