It’s Jo Neary’s best loved character taking centre stage for the first time in a brand new character comedy show, the like of which you will never have seen before – it’s the nation’s favourite Village Hall based radio chat show, hosted and staged by Celia Jesson, her husband Fred and The Late John Mills!

Joanna Neary is best known as neighbour and love interest Judith in the four series of Ideal (BBC TWO) with Johnny Vegas. In addition to her Perrier Best Newcomer Award nomination in 2004, she has won the Brighton Fringe Festival Award for Best Female Performer and the Fringe Report’s Best Actor – Theatrical Comedy Award, both in 2005. Joanna was nominated for Best Character Act at the Chortle Awards in 2007 and continues to be a regular performer at some of the country’s best loved comedy nights, including Robin Ince’s School For Gifted Children, Josie Long’s Sunday Night Adventure Club, and Adam Buxton’s Out Of Focus Group. Last year, Joanna appeared in the Mitchell and Webb Look, Adam Buxton’s Meebox on BBC3 and BBC4’s Ornate Johnsons Edwardian Extravaganza. She’s also been seen in Skins and No Heroics as well as performing her own comedy on Radio 4 Woman’s Hour.
