Brighter Coverage for London

We're excited - nay, thrilled - to announce the official commencement of Broadway Baby London coverage. After years of focusing on the Edinburgh Fringe scene, we're spreading our wings to get the buzz of the Capital. Sure, it's not the first time we've rolled up to a London show with a spiral-bound notepad, but since Broadway Baby now has its HQ in the city, we've been busy setting up the infrastructure required to do the vibrant fringe scene justice. Frequent visitors may have also noticed we've spruced up the site, too. In fact, the whole of the underlying structure has been re-written to improve speed, usability and site features. All of our reviews are still online - but now in an improved format. Welcome to the new Broadway Baby.
Cabaret Awards 2012
London Cabaret Awards
The Battersea Barge last week played host to the inaugural London Cabaret Awards, celebrating some of the finest talent, excellent venues, and hardest working figures on the cabaret scene. Performances by the Four Femmes on the Thames, Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer, and Josephine Shaker punctuated the awards, compered by the delicious Jamie Anderson, and the general feeling was one of fun, friendship, goodwill and healthy inebriation. Winners and nominees alike for the 12 categories can be found at the London Cabaret Awards website. Broadway Baby congratulates all the winners, and awaits the coming year of cabaret with excitement.
