Great Songs of the Sky is a tribute to the music of Donovan. Conceived and musically arranged by Lucy D'Mot, this tribute concert was originally staged in August and September 2005 in a joint production by American River College in Sacramento CA and the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival.
This tribute concert includes 16 vocalists and a 5 piece band performing 35 of Donovan's songs to celebrate his 40th musical anniversary. The concert theme very loosely follows the 4 seasons of the year as they parallel the cycle of life.
