So the tour is now over and the West End show at the Southbank Centre went down a treat, over 4000 people now have I Love Cox badges! Chris is now having a little rest before starting to write a new show for 2009. Follow his progress as he tweets at www.twitter.com/bigcox

Gearing Up For The West End

So I'm getting ready for the West End version of Control Freak. Unlike the tour it won't be two act's, it'll be a little over an hour showcasing some of the best bits from the tour and last two Edinburgh shows. Also it'll be the last time I perform some of this material (at least for a bit) as I try to find an all new show for 2009.

If you get a chance it'd be lovely to see you down there, it's nearly sold out which is very exciting and I've ordered some moving lights and a smoke machine... no expense spared.

and that's a wrap

So last night, after two months on the road I did the last two act performance of Chris Cox : Control Freak at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff... and what a show it was.

We were filming it, which made me a little more nervous than usual before the show, however it all went off swimmingly and as such I am a very happy person today. My family and a load of friends also came to see the show, which always a little off putting to see them in the audience, but very lovely.

There's one more show, it's a one off one at the Southbank Centre in the West End on the 17th Dec.. do pop along if you get a chance.

So I'm now looking forward to a nice rest before starting to think about a 2009 show and working on some little TV things.

Thought I'd give you a quick news update since we're halfway through the tour!

Chris is currently appearing on All New Generation Sex on Fiver on TV in the UK. It's not too embarrassing and he's occasionally funny on it.

The tour continues

Hello one and all,

So I'm having a lovely time on tour, had some great gigs. Got a standing ovation in Bath which was mentally amazing, had such a huge response it was lovely, a beautiful theatre and friendly folk. Tunbridge Wells was rather quiet but everyone was raving after the show, then I had a cracker last night in Brighton. It was possibly the most attractive audience I've ever had.

Ben (my tour manager) and I seem to be spending a lot of time in our van... anyone know any good car games to play?

Off to Maidstone tonight where my mate Colin Murray is coming to see the show, I hope it's good as if it's not he'll go off on one!

The Tour Begins

Well hello, how are you?

I'm currently recovering from the first night of my UK tour, which went pretty well I think. It felt very much like a first night to me, but the audience seemed to really enjoy it which is splendid. A couple of tricks went slightly wrong, but that'll be changed by the next show on Friday in Reading.

It's all very exciting being on the road, myself and my trusty tour manager, best friend, director fella Ben are up and down the UK over the next two months in our lovely Renault Van filled with props and magic, ready to entertain the nation. You think you have free will? You think you can decide what you choose? You think fate can't be changed? You need to think again! 24 year old Chris Cox will change the way you think! After selling out his entire run and winning the Zebra Award at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival - the mind reader who can't read minds is back reading minds with a new 18 date UK tour entitled 'Control Freak' which kick's off in Crawley on the 5th October.

Chris will be looking at the 'what if' moments in life, seeing if everything happens for a reason and trying to work out how all those little things about our lives add up to turn us into the person we are. It all comes together in a stunning finale that proves Chris has been in control throughout and will leave the audience in no-doubt that he is as much of a geek as he is a control freak.
