About Us

Hello. Welcome to Broadway Baby, the insiders’ guide to the fringe. We review at fringe festivals around the UK and the fringe scene in London. You can read our work online on broadwaybaby.com or in our print paper distributed around Edinburgh Festival Fringe venues. Join in the debate by writing your own reviews for the shows in our listings. We tweet every review, both from our own critics and audience members - so your voice will be heard!

Our critics are people who understand the fringe from the inside: the performers, playwrights and producers of the fringe themselves. Their insight into what it really takes to mount a successful production is what makes our reviews special.

At the the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010, our site received 10.7 million hits, and we distributed 20,000 copies of our print paper around Edinburgh. It’s not just about the numbers though: nothing compares to the feeling of seeing careers begin on the strength of a Broadway Baby review, and nothing can beat hearing people discussing our reviews in the bar after a good show.

You can help us become better by writing for us, advertising with us and by letting us know about your show. Most of all, you can help us by using our site to get the most out of the fringe. Our content will always be free - so spend your money seeing as many great shows as you can.
